The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) reported that 500 operational enemy infrastructures in southern Lebanon were destroyed, as well as underground infrastructures, and that many terrorists had been eliminated.
Many tunnels were also destroyed, and over 100 weapons caches were discovered and destroyed.
The IDF’s 36th “Ga’ash” Division, which includes combat teams from the Golani Infantry Brigade, the Etzioni Infantry Brigade (Res.), the 188th Armored Brigade, and the 282nd Artillery Brigade, is fighting alongside the Oketz “Sting” Canine Unit, the Yahalom (Diamond) Combat Engineers Special Forces Unit, and other units in southern Lebanon.
The Golani Brigade’s forces killed the Hezbollah commander in the Maroun El Ras area, causing damage to the enemy’s rocket launch and raid capabilities.
