Indian Army Unveils ‘India Selfie Point’ Near LoC In Uri, Jammu And Kashmir

It was opened by the Indian Army on Wednesday near the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, according to authorities. Renowned artist Rouble Nagi gave the “India Selfie Point.” He has set up other “India Selfie Points” in Jammu and Kashmir, they said.

Officials said Nagi, who is an artist, author, and social worker, is known for her work with women in rural Kashmir to give them more power through her Art foundation, which teaches them new skills and helps them start their own businesses.

They also said that Nagi’s gift of the building shows how nationalist feelings are growing in the valley.

In front of top army officials and important citizens from Uri, the “India Selfie Point” was opened by the Dagger Division.

“This innovative and interactive space is set to revolutionise the way visitors capture and share their memorable moments while visiting the remote border region of Uri in Baramulla district,” they said.

‘India Selfie Point’ was thought up to give people and groups a unique and interesting place to be, they said.

Its central location on NH-44 makes it easy for both locals and tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery with the Jhelum river in the background.

Officials said that the project shows the Army’s dedication to improving community involvement and creating a place that truly reflects the spirit of Vibrant India.
