All-Women Contingents From Central Armed Police Forces To Lead Republic Day Parade 2024

During the Republic Day parade in the national capital on January 26, the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will have a group made up of only women. Officials said that marching, band, and motorbike groups made up of only women will be the main attraction. They will show off the skills of women who work for CAPFs like the Border Security Force (BSF), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
A “combined” daredevil bikers team made up of only women from CAPFs, such as the Border Security Force (BSF), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), will ride along the parade route on 350 CC Royal Enfield Bullets for the first time in the event’s history. This show has never been seen before, and it will happen before the sky is filled with the spectacle of different Indian Air Force (IAF) assets taking the stage.
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, the CAPF will also have women’s dancing and band teams from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the SSB, and the BSF. The parade, which happens every year, will start in Raisina Hills, go through the famous India Gate, and end at the old Red Fort. This parade not only shows how strong India’s military is, but it also honors the country’s rich cultural history.
