Trump’s Reported Peace Plan Urges Ukraine to Hand Over Donbas, Recognize Crimea as Russian

A new report on former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed peace framework for the Russia-Ukraine war has triggered intense global debate, as the plan allegedly calls for Ukraine to surrender significant territory in exchange for a ceasefire.

According to sources familiar with the draft terms, the proposal urges Ukraine to cede the Donbas region to Russia and formally recognize Crimea as Russian territory. The plan also reportedly includes restrictions on Ukraine’s defense capabilities, including limits on troop strength and long-term military infrastructure.
