Chinar Corps of the Indian Army wrote on platform X (formerly Twitter), “Based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Cordon & Search Operation (CASO) was launched by #IndianArmy & JmuKmrPolice at Panzu & Gamiraj in Pulwama on 25 Dec 23.”

Additionally, it said, “Three suspected individuals have been apprehended with the recovery of 02xPistol and other war-like stores.” The post also said that the suspects are being questioned by both the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian Police.

The Indian Army wants to send more troops to the Poonch-Rajouri sector to stop the growing number of attacks by Pakistani terrorists. Army sources said, “A few months ago, an extra brigade-sized formation was moved into the area.” Another brigade and a few other units are planned to go there to help with operations against terrorism.
