Indian Forces Eliminate Four Terrorists During HM Amit Shah’s J&K Visit

On the same day that India’s Home Minister Amit Shah started a two-day trip to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India’s north, four terrorists were killed in a joint action by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Indian army along the Line of Control with Pakistan in Kupwara’s Machil sector.

The operation “Kala Jungle” began after the troops got a tip that terrorists were in the area trying to get in from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

In a joint operation by the Indian Army and the Jammu Kashmir Police, alert troops along the Line of Control (LOC) in Macchal Sector, Kupwara, stopped an attempt at entry today. Four attackers have been killed, and war supplies have been found. The Defense Spokesperson of the Indian Army said, “Operation is going on.”

This is the third action that has happened on the Line of Control in June.

In three actions near the Line of Control in North Kashmir, security forces have killed eleven terrorists.

In the first operation, which took place in the Machil sector, two terrorists were killed. In the second operation, which took place in Kupwara, five foreign terrorists were killed. So far, four terrorist bodies have been found at the site of today’s activities.

Amit Shah’s Jammu Kashmir visit

The Indian army says that the search is still going on in the area.

The Indian Home Minister, Amit Shah, is currently in the Union Territory, where he will start a number of projects to improve the area. After he lands in Jammu area, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will send flowers to the BJP leader Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. He will also start and lay the groundwork for a number of Jammu development projects.

Later, he will land in Srinagar, where he will launch and lay the cornerstone for several development projects at the Raj Bhawan Auditorium. He will also go to the Vitasta Cultural Festival in Srinagar, which is put on by the Union Ministry of Culture.

The Home Minister will also take a look at the plans for Amarnath Yatra and make sure they are safe.
