Air Marshal SP Dharkar said on Sunday that the Indian Air Force (IAF) might put on an air show in Arunachal Pradesh. This would be the first time that the IAF’s air power has been shown in this strategically important state next to China.
Reporters talked to the AOC-in-C of the Eastern Air Command. He said that it would be hard to hold an air show in Arunachal Pradesh because of all the hills, but it would still be “interesting” for the force to do so.
Dharkar was answering a question about whether the IAF would ever put on an air show in Arunachal Pradesh to show off its skills to regular people.
He also said, “It’s an interesting idea, I’m sure we’ll look at it.”
