General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC is the 29th and current Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army
He formerly served as Vice Chief of the Army Staff, General Officer-in-Chief of Eastern Command, and Commander-in-Chief (CINCAN) of the Andaman and Nicobar Command.

General Manoj Pandey, Chief of Army Staff, has launched the Kargil International Marathon in Ladakh. The events are being arranged in partnership with Sarhad Pune by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, and Ladakh police. There are full-length, half-length, ten-kilometer, and five-kilometer runs available. Over 2000 participants took part in the International Marathon.
