Indo-France Joint Military Exercise Frinjex-2023 Begins In Thiruvananthapuram

On March 7 and 8, 2023, the first Joint Military Exercise FRINJEX-23 between the Indian Army and the French Army will take place at the Pangode Military Station in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
For the first time, the armies of both countries will work together in this way. Each group will have one Company Group from the Indian Army in Thiruvananthapuram and one from the French 6th Light Armoured Brigade.
The goal of the exercise is to improve how well both forces can work together, coordinate, and communicate at the tactical level. The goal of the exercise is to set up and run a joint command post to secure a planned area for joint humanitarian aid and disaster relief, including setting up an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp and moving disaster relief supplies.
