Ukraine And A Nato Country Start Making Tank Ammunition Together

The news release says, “This is the second weapon that the conglomerate’s businesses have started making in close cooperation with a NATO country abroad.”

UkrOboronProm said in a press release that the first batch of 125mm rounds for the T-64, T-72, and T-80 main battle tanks has already been sent.

Ukraine started making its own 82mm and 120mm mortar mines, 122mm and 152mm artillery shells, and now 125mm tank rounds for the first time.

Ukroboronprom said, “For security reasons, production has moved outside of the country, but our designers, technologists, turners, foundries, etc. are still involved in making ammunition.”
