PM Narendra Modi Takes To The Skies In Tejas Fighter Jet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made history by flying in the Tejas fighter plane. He was the first prime minister to fly in the light combat aircraft (LCA) that was made in India.
PM Modi tweeted after the sortie, “Successfully completed a sortie on the Tejas.” This experience was very helpful and made me believe in our country’s native abilities even more. It gave me a renewed sense of pride and optimism about our national potential.
The PM also showed the Tejas pictures of himself with him. He had on a helmet, aviator glasses, and a G suit.

Modi said in another tweet, “Flying in Tejas, I can say with immense pride that thanks to our hard work and dedication, we are no less than anyone in the world when it comes to self-reliance.” Many thanks to the Indian Air Force, DRDO, HAL, and everyone else in India.
Officials say that the Prime Minister went to the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) site in Bengaluru, Karnataka, earlier today to look at the work that was still being done at the company’s factories.

Singh, who is the defense minister, said in April of this year that India’s defense exports hit an all-time high of Rs 15,920 crore in 2022–2023. He had said that it was a great accomplishment for the country.
