As part of a nation-wide campaign to show off what the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government has done in its nine years in power, Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhat said on Monday that India has become self-sufficient in making defense equipment thanks to a big push in this area. He also said that India exports this equipment to 72 countries around the world.

“It gives me a sense of pride that India has become a major exporter of defense equipment around the world,” the Union Minister said at an event to list the major accomplishments of the BJP Government. He also said that this is a reflection of Modiji’s Atamnirbhar Bharat, which has given the people a sense of confidence.

He said that the country has won a respectable place among nations, and that the day will soon come when India will become the Vishwa Guru.

Editor-in-Chief of STATE TIMES Raj Daluja, Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina, and Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi were all there.

The Union Minister went into detail about the progress made in every area, with a special focus on the steps taken in recent years to help Jammu and Kashmir grow.

The Union Minister of State went over some of these accomplishments and said that the last nine years have been focused on making the country’s growth more inclusive, progressive, and sustainable.

He said that during these years, India’s infrastructure has grown by leaps and bounds. During this time, 74 airports, 15 AIIMS, 700 medical schools, and seven IITs and IIMs were built all over the country.

He also said that the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the building of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, and the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat, which is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is the tallest statue in the world, were all major accomplishments of the Modi government in the last nine years.

A defense official said that earlier, the Union minister went to the headquarters of “Project Sampark” of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) here and checked on the progress of work being done to meet the strategic needs of the security forces.

Brigadier Tejpal Singh, the top engineer, told Bhatt in detail about all the work that had been done, from improving the defense capabilities of our forces to building and maintaining our strategic lines of communication, he said.

A spokeswoman for the Union said that the minister of state for defense was told about how new technologies can be used to build roads.

Bhatt was also told about the different things that were being done to help all of the rank and file, he said.

A BRO official said that Bhatt thanked the bravehearts for their good work and paid a solemn tribute to them.
