Indian Defence Industry Impresses Thai Delegation

On Thursday, the Department of Defence Production met with a group of people from Thailand and showed them how advanced the Indian defense industry is.
A statement from the Ministry of Defense said that the meeting with the delegation led by Air Marshal Piboon Vorravanpreecha, Deputy Chief of Air Staff of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), was about strengthening defense links.
“The Indian defense industries showed the Thai group their state-of-the-art capabilities. This was a big step toward improving defense cooperation between India and Thailand. The event was meant to help people learn more about each other, look into possible partnerships, and contribute to the security of the area, it said.
During the event, both sides said they were committed to building strong defense ties and looking into ways to do joint study, share technology, and work together strategically.
The presentations and discussions would pave the way for future cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as defense research and development, joint exercises, and efforts to build capacity, the statement said.
