India Expands Naval Outreach as Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi Engages Myanmar Leadership

In a move aimed at reinforcing India’s maritime partnerships in the region, Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi held a series of high-level interactions with Myanmar’s naval leadership during his official visit to the Southeast Asian nation.

The engagements took place in Yangon, where Admiral Tripathi met senior officials of the Myanmar Navy to review the current state of bilateral naval relations and explore opportunities for further collaboration. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to strengthening defence ties and ensuring maritime security in the region.

Key areas of focus during the talks included expanding joint naval activities, enhancing training exchanges, and improving coordination between the two navies.
