Drone Recovered Near Pakistan Border In Punjab

An official from the BSF said that on Monday they found a drone in a field near the border between India and Pakistan in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district.
Eight robotic Pakistani aircraft have been seized by Border Security Force (BSF) troops in different parts of Punjab in the last week. These aircraft were used to bring heroin across the border illegally.
According to the source, the troops and the Punjab Police searched the area around Mehdipur village in Tarn Taran on Monday based on specific information.
A quadcopter made in China was found in a field during the raid, he said.
The BSF also said that in the past week, its troops have stopped and seized eight Pakistani drones and five kilograms of heroin.
“Alert troops of @BSF_Punjab have caught and returned eight Pakistani drones that were trying to bring drugs into India over the last seven days.” In addition, the BSF was able to seize about 5 kg of heroin and catch two people who were smuggling it, the force said in a post on X.
