Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Highlights Forces’ Resolve During Operation Sindoor

At a 60-year commemoration of the 1965 War, Singh says India’s victories are now a “habit, not an exception.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has praised the Indian Armed Forces for their extraordinary courage and coordination displayed in Operation Sindoor, describing it as proof that the country’s victories in battle are now consistent and assured.

Addressing a gathering to mark 60 years since the 1965 India-Pakistan War, Singh noted that the nation’s military strength has advanced to a point where success on the battlefield is no longer rare. “For India, victory has become a habit rather than an exception,” he emphasized, pointing to the seamless coordination among units during Operation Sindoor.

The Defence Minister also paid tribute to the soldiers who fought in the 1965 war, acknowledging their sacrifices as the foundation for India’s current defence readiness. He remarked that the same spirit of valor and unity continues to define the armed forces today, making India’s defence posture stronger than ever.

Singh’s message underlines India’s growing confidence in its military capabilities and its preparedness to meet modern security challenges.
