Defence Sources Report Presence Of 30 Suspected Pakistani Terrorists In Rajouri-Poonch Sector
- Four Army soldiers were killed and three were hurt earlier Thursday evening in the forest area of Dera ki Gali in the Rajouri district.

Defense sources said Friday that Pakistan is trying to bring back terrorism in the Rajouri-Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, where they say that 25 to 30 Pakistani terrorists are hiding in the forests.
Based on what the sources said, the plan to bring back terrorist activities in the area is part of a bigger game by Pakistan and China to get the Indian Army to pull troops out of the Ladakh sector and put them somewhere else.
“There is a larger game plan by the Pakistan-China nexus to not allow India to ease out of the Jammu and Kashmir sector and deploy troops on the China border, especially in the Ladakh sector, where the PLA and Indian forces have been in a standoff for the last three years now,” they stated.
In order to counter Chinese aggression in 2020, India moved the Uniform Force of Rashtriya Rifles from the Poonch sector to Ladakh. This was done as part of rebalancing and to put pressure on the PLA to match Indian strength.
Sources say that between 25 and 30 Pakistani terrorists have been hiding in a forest in the upper reaches of the Poonch Rajouri sector in order to attack security forces.
Since the Uniform Force left for operations in Ladakh a few years ago, Pakistan has been sending its own terrorists to the area to attack Indian troops in an effort to get India to move its own troops to a different area.
As of late, the Indian Army added one more brigade to fight terrorism, and they have been successful in that area.
