In a bold military maneuver along the Line of Control (LOC), India’s armed forces executed Operation Sindoor, resulting in significant losses for Pakistan, according to the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen G S Ghai. Reports indicate that over 100 Pakistani soldiers were killed, and 12 aircraft were destroyed or rendered inoperative during the operation.
Lt Gen Ghai stated that the operation focused on strategic enemy positions and was carried out with precision, ensuring minimal collateral damage while neutralizing key threats. “This operation underscores India’s commitment to safeguarding its territorial integrity and demonstrates the Indian Armed Forces’ operational readiness,” he added.
Defense experts suggest that Operation Sindoor reflects India’s evolving approach to border security, combining intelligence-driven planning with advanced military capabilities. Analysts also note that the scale and effectiveness of the operation send a strong deterrent message to hostile forces along the LOC.
The Indian military continues to monitor the region closely, ensuring preparedness for any potential retaliatory actions. Officials reaffirmed that such operations are crucial to maintaining strategic stability and protecting national security interests.
