India-US Predator Drone Deal Worth Rs 32,000 Crore

On Tuesday, India and the United States will sign a Rs 32,000 crore deal to purchase 31 Predator drones for the Indian defence forces.
The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) approved the project last week, with 15 birds going to the Indian Navy and the remainder divided equally between the Air Force and the Army.
The Foreign Military Sales contract with the US government for 31 Predator drones and the MRO is expected to be signed tomorrow, according to defense officials.
According to the officials, an American delegation of military and corporate representatives is in town to sign these contracts.
According to sources, top Indian defence officials, including the Joint Secretary and Acquisition Manager for naval systems, will attend the signing ceremony.
