Two Terrorists Neutralised In Anti-Infiltration Operation In J&K’s Nowshera

The Indian Army recently conducted an anti-infiltration operation in the Nowshera region of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the neutralization of two terrorists. The operation also resulted in the recovery of a significant amount of warlike stores, including two AK-47s and one pistol. This took place on the intervening nights of September 8 and September 9.

According to the White Knight Corps, “Operation Kanchi” was carried out in response to intelligence gathered by both agencies and the Jammu and Kashmir Police regarding an attempted infiltration.

The search operation was carried out in the general vicinity of Lam, which is located in Nowshera.

Using social media platform X, the White Knight Corps reported that they launched an anti-infiltration Operation on the intervening night of 08-09 Sep 24 in general area Lam, Nowshera. This response was initiated based on information provided by intelligence agencies and Jammu-Kashmir Police regarding a potential infiltration attempt. The result of this operation so far includes the neutralization of two terrorists and the recovery of a significant amount of warlike supplies, including Two AK-47s and one Pistol.

The region is currently experiencing an ongoing anti-infiltration operation.

On August 29, the Indian Army effectively neutralized three terrorists who were attempting to cross over the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machhal and Tangdhar areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an official press release, reliable information from intelligence agencies and the J-K Police revealed potential infiltration efforts from these regions. As a result, the Indian Army, JKP, and BSF launched ambushes on suspected infiltration paths in the Machhal and Tangdhar sectors.

Around 8 PM, the ambush units stationed in the Machhal sector detected terrorist activity within dense foliage located roughly 600 metres on their side of the Line of Control.

There was an intense exchange of fire between security forces and infiltrating terrorists, after they were challenged. Around 9 PM, in the Tangdhar sector, another exchange of fire took place between the two sides of the LoC, approximately 100 metres from the infiltrators. The exchanges of fire were heavy in both sectors.

During the firefight, two terrorists were neutralized in the Machhal sector and one in the Tangdhar sector.
