Red Fort Blast: Suicide Bomber Suspected to Have Waited Inside Car for Hours Before Explosion

Fresh details have surfaced in the investigation into the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, suggesting the explosion was likely the result of a deliberately executed suicide mission. Sources involved in the probe revealed that CCTV footage captured the suspected bomber sitting inside the vehicle for more than three hours before the explosion tore through the area on Sunday evening.

The blast occurred near the Delhi Gate stretch, sending panic across the high-security zone that houses several iconic national landmarks.
