Rajnath Singh Inaugurates Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 And Inducts C-295 Transport Aircraft Into IAF

An official from the Indian Air Force said Sunday that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will open the Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 show on Monday at the Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the IAF, the Defense Minister would also make the C-295 delivery plane an official part of the Indian Air Force.
Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, who is in charge of the IAF, will be one of the top military leaders at the ceremony.
Notably, the IAF and the Drone Federation of India are working together to host “Bharat Drone Shakti 2023” because they see the potential of designing and making drones in India.
On September 25th and 26th, this event will take place at the IAF’s Hindan airport in Ghaziabad, and there will be live air shows.
Drones are being used more and more in India, both for military and non-military purposes.
The press release said that drone technology has quickly changed both the civilian and military sectors by making them more efficient, lowering risks, and improving their abilities.
The IAF has a lot of practice using Remotely Piloted Aircraft for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions.
According to the release, the IAF started the Meher Baba Swarm Drone competition to take advantage of India’s growing drone technology industry and show its confidence in the country’s drone capabilities.
Now, with ‘Bharat Drone Shakti 2023,’ the IAF will be able to use this knowledge even more.With more than 50 live aerial displays, “Bharat Drone Shakti 2023” looks like it will show off the full potential of the Indian drone industry.
The release said that these examples will cover a wide range of drone uses, such as surveying, farming, putting out fires, tactical surveillance, heavy-lift logistics, loitering munition systems, drone swarms, and counter-drone solutions.
More than 75 drone start-ups and companies will also be present and taking part in the event.
About 5,000 people are expected to attend “Bharat Drone Shakti 2023,” which will bring together a wide range of interested parties.
