Indian Warships And Indonesian Navy To Conduct Joint Naval Exercises In Jakarta

On July 17, two Indian Naval ships, the INS Sahyadri and the INS Kolkata, which were on a mission in the South Eastern Indian Ocean Region (IOR), arrived in Jakarta.
The Indonesian Navy welcomed the ships with open arms, according to the statement from the Indian Navy.
During the port call, people from the Indian and Indonesian navies will talk to each other about their jobs, do yoga together, play sports, and visit other decks. The goal is to improve cooperation and understanding between the two militaries.
The two ships will also take part in a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) at sea with the Indonesian Navy. This will help the two militaries work together even better than they already do.
India and Indonesia have important ties with each other. Both countries’ armed forces often work together and do things together, especially in the maritime area.
