He told the troops not to make any “mistakes” that could hurt the people of the country, but Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said he had full faith in the Indian Army to get rid of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh came to Jammu and Kashmir earlier in the day to check on the security situation. He said that it was up to the troops to win over the hearts of the people while doing their job to protect the country.

Singh is in Rajouri and Jammu for the day because of a terrorist attack in Poonch.

The minister’s statement comes after the outrage caused when three civilians were found dead in Poonch district on December 22. It is said that they had been picked up by security forces to be questioned about an attack on two army vehicles the day before, which killed four soldiers.

As soon as the defense minister arrived in Jammu, he flew to Rajouri district with Army chief General Manoj Pande and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to check on the security situation. He wanted to see what was going on especially in Rajouri and Poonch, which are border districts where there have been a lot of terror attacks and attempts to get in from across the Line of Control (LoC) this year.

When the defense minister spoke to the men at a military garrison in Rajouri, he praised their bravery.

“I trust that you will be brave and strong…” There should be no more terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, and you need to keep your promise. “I am sure that you will win,” Singh told them, standing next to General Pande and Lt. Governor.

Terrorists attacked four troops’ vehicles at Dhatyar Morh between Dhera Ki Gali and Buffliaz in the Surankote area of Poonch on December 21. Four soldiers died and three were hurt.

The army is said to have picked up three civilians, ages 27 to 42, to question them after the attack. The next day, they were found dead. Soon, videos that were said to show the detained people being tortured went viral on social media.

“These kinds of things (ambushes) can’t be taken for granted.” I know you’re aware of what’s going on, but I think you need to be even more aware. Singh said, “I want you to know that the government is on your side and that your well-being is our top priority.”

There were three people killed, so the defense minister asked the troops to not make “mistakes that hurt the citizens of the country.” “The Indian Army isn’t seen as a normal army around the world.” The Army is stronger and better prepared than it used to be, and most people agree with this. You are the guards of the country, but you also need to win the hearts of the people who live there. “You have a lot of responsibility,” the minister told them.

“It needs to be taken more seriously,” he said. “That can be done by meeting with the people, listening to their problems, and bringing them up at the right level so they can be fixed.”

Singh paid his respects to the troops who had died and prayed for the injured soldiers to get better quickly.

“I want to reassure you that the necessary and right steps would be taken because of how serious the incident was.” When it comes to us, every fighter is family, and his life is very important… “We don’t like it when people look at our soldiers,” he said.

It is possible to get more money from the government to improve protection and gather information, he said.

“The soldiers made a supreme sacrifice that can never be made up for in money.” “The void will never be filled,” he said.
