The Indian Air Force wants to improve its fleet of Russian-made Su-30 MKI combat planes by giving them an advanced radar made in India called “Virupaaksha.”

The Indian Air Force is working on a plan to upgrade the Su-30MKI fleet. The package is worth more than Rs 65,000 crore, and it includes adding modern radars and weapon systems made in India to 84 planes.

“The Virupaaksha is a high-tech radar that is being made in India.” This would give the process of making the military more like home a big boost.

Hindus all over the world worship the god Mahadev, and one of his names is Virupaaksha.

There is already a plan in place for the Indian Air Force to replace the Israeli radar on the LCA Tejas Mark 1A fighter jet with the Uttam Actors Electronically Scanned Array radar and the Angad electronic warfare suite.

The Indian Air Force does most of its work with Su-30 fighter jets, of which 260 are already in use. Different groups of jets have been added over time, and they now make up about half of the fighter fleet.

The Indian Air Force also sees the Su-30MKI fleet upgrade plan as a chance to sell its products to other countries. This is because many countries in Southeast Asia and Africa use the plane and can use these solutions to give their own fleets more advanced features.

There are a lot of Su-30MKI fighters in service with India, and the country is always adding new features to them.
