Ukrainian Drone Strike on Russia’s Nizhnekamsk Kills 13, Including a Child

A major Ukrainian drone attack on Nizhnekamsk in Russia’s Tatarstan region has killed 13 people, including a child, and injured 39 others, while an oil refinery was also reportedly hit.

At least 13 people, including a child, were killed and 39 others injured after a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack struck the Russian city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan, according to Russian regional authorities. The strike has become one of the deadliest recent Ukrainian drone attacks against targets inside Russia.

The attack took place in Nizhnekamsk, an important industrial centre located around 800 kilometres east of Moscow. Both industrial and residential areas were reportedly affected during the drone assault, causing casualties and damage as emergency services responded to the incident.
