Just 10 Local Youths Join Militancy In 2023 In Jammu And Kashmir

Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh told the ultras on Tuesday that they should stop being violent and join the mainstream. In 2023, only 10 local kids joined militant groups in Jammu and Kashmir, down from 110 the previous year. Singh told media after visiting the Mata Badrakali Temple in Handwara in the Kupwara district that militancy in Jammu and Kashmir was “almost finished” and that its “remnants” would be gone soon.
