People can get a limited number of passes to the upcoming Army Day events from a help desk set up by the Indian army. Weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm, the help desk will be open. People who want to get a pass will have to wait in line.
Surya Khel Parisar-I, also called “Butchery Ground,” is where the help desk is located. It is on Cariappa road in the Cantonment area. Army Public School (LBS Marg) is right next to it.
From what the defense PRO says, people who want to get passes must bring legal identification.
People with the passes will be able to go to a number of events, such as the Army Day parade practice at the 11th Gorkha Rifle Regimental Center, Shaurya Sandhya – A Military Display on January 15 at 3:30 pm, and the Military Band performance at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Park Gomti Nagar on January 14 at 6:30 pm.
The “Know Your Army Festival,” on the other hand, does not require passes. It will happen at Surya Khel Parisar-I from January 5 to 7 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Visitors will not be able to see the 76th Army Day parade on January 15 in the morning.
Every year on January 15, the India Army holds an Army Day parade. It has traditionally been held in Delhi, but this year it will be in Lucknow, which is different from the years it was held in Bengaluru. The army wants to get more people involved, and this change is part of that plan. In an effort to get more people to see the parade, each of the army’s six operational areas will be able to host it.
Similarly, this year’s Navy Day was held at the Sindhudurg Fort, which is off the coast of Maharashtra and was built by the Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 1600s. On December 4, Navy Day is held to remember the navy’s attack on Karachi harbor in 1971, which happened during the war with Pakistan.
