Officials say that on Thursday, an Indian Air Force C-17 transport plane dropped a heavy platform made in India that can carry up to 16 tonnes of cargo in a military zone in Agra.
People who were there said it was the first time an IAF plane had dropped a platform that was 24 feet by 8 feet and could hold 16 tons.
“For the first time, an Indian Air Force C-17 dropped a Type V Platform (24 ft) that was made by ADRDE.” What a great result! Thanks to the hard work of teams from the IAF, the Indian Army, and ADRDE, who showed how strong indigenous innovation can be, the IAF’s Western Command wrote on ‘X’.
