Indian Air Force’s Firepower Showcase In Pokharan On February 17

During Exercise Vayu Shakti-2024, which will take place at the Pokharan firing range on February 17, top officials said on Friday that the Indian Air Force will show off all of its combat and firepower.

Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal A P Singh told reporters here that the exercise will include fighter jets Rafale and Prachand as well as Apache attack helicopters. This is the first time that these types of aircraft have been used in an exercise like this.

The Pokharan shooting range is in Rajasthan, close to the border between India and Pakistan.

He said that the three-times-a-year exercise will last for two hours and fifteen minutes at dawn, dusk, and night.

The purpose of Exercise Vayu Shakti is to show the full range of tasks that India’s space power can perform. “It will be done in a situation that is very close to real life,” Air Marshal Singh said.
