Three soldiers were hurt when a landmine went off near the Line of Control in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

A preliminary investigation showed that the workers were checking the Phagwari Gali area in the Mendhar sector when the landmine went off.

Officials said that the hurt soldiers were taken to a nearby hospital, and later, two of them were sent to a military hospital in Rajouri for more specialized care.
