A Territorial Army (TA) soldier is thought to have been kidnapped by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. According to initial reports, two soldiers were abducted from the Anantnag forest area; however, one of them escaped. The exact timeline of the abduction is unknown. Officials have launched an extensive search and rescue operation to find the missing soldier.
“Terrorists abducted two Territorial Army jawans in the Anantnag forest area of Jammu and Kashmir. However, one of the jawans has made it back. “Security forces have launched an operation to find the missing jawan.”
More information about the situation is awaited. The incident occurred at the same time as the arrest of a Pakistani intruder near Jammu’s international border. The arrested individual is 31 years old and was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) after crossing into Indian territory on Tuesday evening.
Shahid Imran, a Sargodha resident in Pakistan’s Punjab province, has been identified as the suspect. He was apprehended from Makwal and discovered to be carrying knives, a smartwatch, and an empty SIM card holder. Officials also discovered a cigarette packet and a Rs 5 coin in Pakistani currency in his possession.
