BSF Shoots Down Another Pakistani Drone In Punjab And Seizes Illegal Goods

The Border Security Force (BSF) said on Tuesday that they shot down another Pakistani drone in Punjab. The drone was carrying illegal goods and had just crossed into Indian territory.

Monday night at 8:20 p.m., BSF troops at the India-Pakistan International Border heard the buzzing sound of the flying object and shot it down in the Amritsar district of Punjab.

It was found by the border guarding force on Tuesday morning when they were looking for it.

The drone came from Pakistan and was found near Border Outpost Rajatal in the Amritsar Sector, according to the BSF, whose job it is to protect the 3,323 km India-Pakistan International Border.

“Around 8:20 pm on March 27, shots were fired at the drone and counter-drone measures were taken. Then, during a search of the area this morning (March 28, 2023), BSF troops found one black drone with a white bag about 700 meters from the IB and 350 meters from the fence. When the bag was opened, a large package wrapped in yellow tape and a small flashlight were found “the BSF said.

The BSF troops also found a bag with 6.275 kg of heroin and a bike without a number plate in a wheat field in the village of Toor in the district of Amritsar the day before. A Pakistani drone also dumped the heroin in Amritsar.
