Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will debut the scale model of the Hindustan Lead in Fighter Trainer (HLFT-42) at Aero India starting Monday.
The HAL said HLFT-42, the “Next Gen Supersonic Trainer,” will play a “vital role” in modern combat aircraft training with state-of-the-art avionics like Active Electronically Scanned Array, Electronic Warfare Suite, Infrared Search and Track and Fly by Wire control system.
The Bengaluru-based company will present the “Aatmanirbhar Formation” flight of 15 helicopters, including all models of Advanced Light Helicopter, “Prachand” Light Combat Helicopter, and Light Utility Helicopter, at the five-day aerospace and defence show at Air Force Station Yelahanka.
On the theme “Innovate. Collaborate. Lead,” the HAL will demonstrate its full range of training capabilities and products and technology.
The Indian Multi Role Helicopter, next-generation HLFT-42, LCA Mk 2, Hindustan Turbo-shaft Engine-1200, RUAV, LCA Trainer, and Hindustan-228 will be HAL’s interior pavilion’s main attractions.
HAL will market indigenously-built platforms to visiting defence delegations, arrange commercial meetings with Original Equipment Manufacturers and clients, and sign agreements and contracts with its business partners for various projects.
