The Defence Ministry’s 33-page report has revealed Pakistan’s sinister terrorist plans to harm India. India Today has access to unambiguous evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in terror plots and its neighbor’s duplicity.
The document describes the infiltration attempts that the Pakistani elite, including its army, makes across borders. It also illustrates how Pakistan’s minority Hindu population is being slaughtered.
The report focuses on the murders of police officers, teachers, and migrant workers in Jammu and Kashmir by terrorists supported by Pakistan who act as direct agents of the forces in Islamabad. It also details how Pakistan murders political workers and brainwashes young people in Jammu and Kashmir to join the ranks of terrorism.
INFILTRATION ATTEMPTS
The 16 attempts by Pakistani terrorists to cross into India between 2020 and 21 are detailed in the first portion of the lengthy file, titled “Terrorist Incidents Along The LoC And In The Hinterland.” The thorough report also details the weapons and papers that the security forces collected from the terrorists, as well as the path they took each time they crossed the international border’s various sections. The number of terrorists killed by security personnel while attempting to stop them is also listed.
RECRUITMENT ACROSS J&K
“The openly state-sponsored terror apparatus operating on Pakistani soil continues to operate in a well-known manner. Find young people who are stupid or defenceless and in need of money, indoctrinate them, instil extreme and vengeful beliefs in their malleable brains, and force them to participate in the so-called jihadi conflict. When referring to the various recruits from the Valley, the study states that if the catchment region includes Kashmir, it also includes Pakistan.
The dossier’s chat logs showed terrorists informing their superiors in Pakistan of their whereabouts.
TARGETING CIVILIANS IN KASHMIR
The target killings in Kashmir are the subject of the dossier’s third section.
In a shift in strategy in recent years, particularly after Article 370, which granted J&K special status, was repealed in 2019, militants supported by Pakistan have targeted people in the Valley. The goal is to instil a sense of fear and uncertainty in the minds of common people, who are easier to target, while simultaneously spreading the myth that life in the former state is not as it should be. And all of this is carried out under the guise of simmering “local” unrest by “indigenous” terror organisations that are supported and aided by the Pakistani Deep State.
“This violence has increased significantly since March of this year, with over a dozen occurrences being documented. Religious minorities made up a large portion of the victims. According to information provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs, 87 civilian deaths have occurred in J&K after Article 370 was repealed on August 5, 2019, down from 177 deaths in the previous five years. Women and children are among the victims of terrorist attacks.
The report is supported by images of horrifying executions of civilians, non-Kashmiri and migrant workers, and members of the minority population. Terrorist organisations reportedly put up banners telling “non-local stooges to leave our land and get ready for severe repercussions (sic)”
ATTEMPTS TO DISRUPT THE POLITICAL PROCESS
To prevent them from taking part in politics and governing, terrorist organisations funded by Pakistan have attacked political activists, leaders, and elected officials in J&K. According to an Army file detailing recent political killings in the Valley, a total of 27 such individuals representing various political groups had died in the last three years.
“Terrorism aimed at destabilising Jammu and Kashmir has thrived in a nation that has experienced more than three decades of military rule and where the Army makes the decisions regardless of whatever party controls the government. It continues to help terrorists despite being listed on the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) “Grey List.” The document concludes that it is time for the nation to be publicly chastised for its acts and held responsible.
