Indian Army Raises National Flag At 8000 Feet In Poonch

On Thursday, for the 74th Republic Day, the Indian Army raised the national flag to a height of 8,000 feet.

In deep snow and cold weather, the Indian Army soldiers saluted the national flag at an altitude of 8,000 feet in the Line of Control (LOC).

On the other side of the International Border, in the RS Pura area of Jammu, the Border Security Force and the Pakistan Rangers exchanged sweets in a friendly way.

On the 74th Republic Day, the Border Security Force (BSF) exchanged sweets with the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in the Fulbari area of West Bengal’s Siliguri. This took place at the India-Bangladesh Border.

During the event, the BSF also gave sweets to Pakistan Rangers at the Attari-Wagah border.

New Delhi, the country’s capital, celebrated the Republic with a big parade and tableaux of the country’s different states and forces on the Kartavya Path.

The big Republic Day 2023 parade at Kartavya Path was important for India because the people who took part pushed the theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” by showing off weapon systems that were made in India.

This year, the Republic Day parade only showed off weapons that were made in India. This included the 21 Gun Salute with ‘Made in India’ 105 mm Indian Field Guns, the recently added LCH Prachand, the K-9 Vajra howitzers, MBT Arjun, Nag anti-tank guided missiles, Akash air defence missiles, and the Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicles.

Building on the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, which was celebrated last year as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,” this year’s celebrations were full of zeal, enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and “Jan Bhagidari,” as Prime Minister Modi had hoped.

On January 23, the date of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday, the week-long celebrations began. A military tattoo and tribal dance festival called “Aadi Shaurya – Parv Parakram Ka” was held in New Delhi on January 23 and 24 to mark the event.

On January 30, which is Martyrs’ Day, all of the events will come to a head.
