Zen Technologies Wins Rs 100 Cr MoD Contract For Advanced Tank Training System

The Ministry of Defence has given An Indian private defense business called Zen Technologies an order for a force-on-force tank training system for the Indian Army’s armored formations. The order is worth 100 crore rupees.

This tank training system allows ‘tank units’ and’sub-units’ to train on real terrains under real conditions using their own equipment, without the need for live ammunition.”

This is the first order for tank training system simulators. The company thinks that this order will lead to more orders from customers in the United States and other countries in the future.

Zen Technologies has also made the Armoured Combat Training System (ACTS), which is another training system for force-on-force training.

Additionally, the ACTS works well with the Zen Tactical Engagement Simulator (TacSim), and it can help train combined arms detachments, which can include armored, infantry, and supporting arms.

A combined arms battle group made up of an infantry brigade and a mechanized forces combat group can use the system to plan exercises for different wartime actions.

“This purchase of this kind of equipment shows that the Indian Armed Forces are fully committed to modernizing and improving their training methods, which is in line with the Framework for Simulators that the MoD released in September 2021.” “Using simulated training not only saves a lot of money and time, but it also makes things run much more smoothly,” Zen Technologies said.
