Silver Touch Technologies Limited has entered a new government technology assignment after receiving a purchase order from the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India. The Ahmedabad-based centre has placed the order for high-end workstations intended for its computing infrastructure requirements.
The order covers the supply, installation, commissioning and support of high-performance computing workstations. According to the company’s regulatory disclosure dated September 26, 2026, the equipment is to be delivered to SAC Stores in Ahmedabad, with the supply to be completed within 18 weeks of receipt of the purchase order. The stated delivery and completion date is February 2, 2027.
The procurement is focused on specialised computing hardware for a scientific establishment under the Department of Space. The company’s disclosure identifies the systems as high-end compute workstations and notes that the order was received through a domestic procurement process. Payment is scheduled within 90 days of receipt, installation and acceptance, according to the disclosed order terms.
SAC is one of ISRO’s major centres and is involved in the development of space-borne payloads and satellite-based applications. Its work spans areas including remote sensing, communication, navigation and other space-application technologies. The requirement for advanced computing infrastructure forms part of the technical environment supporting such activities.
Silver Touch Technologies has also disclosed that the workstation systems involve high-performance computing configurations, including 60-core Intel Xeon processors, 512 GB memory and NVIDIA Blackwell-class graphics processing units with 96 GB memory. Such specifications are suited to computationally intensive applications involving large datasets, simulation, visualisation and artificial intelligence or machine-learning workloads.
The order is also significant for Silver Touch Technologies because it adds a specialised space-sector computing assignment to the company’s recent government technology business. In September, the company disclosed other public-sector orders, including assignments from Gujarat Energy Limited and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. It had earlier secured a RITES contract for the development of PARAKH, an AI-based project appraisal and intelligence platform.
The financial value of the ISRO purchase order has not been disclosed. The company will now be responsible for completing the supply and installation within the specified 18-week period, followed by the applicable warranty and support period after acceptance of the equipment.
The latest contract places Silver Touch Technologies among the technology suppliers undertaking specialised computing infrastructure work for a scientific institution under the Department of Space. Its execution will involve meeting the technical, installation and support requirements specified by the Space Applications Centre.
