Addressing members of the Indian diaspora, he said the operation delivered a powerful message against terror networks and showcased India’s readiness to safeguard its national security.
Referring to the military action, Modi remarked that the strikes on terrorist infrastructure were felt well beyond the immediate region, emphasizing that India’s response carried international significance. His comments reflected New Delhi’s continued commitment to confronting cross-border terrorism through decisive and calibrated measures whenever national security is threatened.
Operation Sindoor is viewed as part of India’s broader counter-terrorism strategy targeting militant infrastructure operating from Pakistan-controlled territories. India’s ability to conduct precision counter-terror operations has strengthened considerably over the past decade through improvements in surveillance, intelligence gathering, and advanced military capabilities. Modern reconnaissance systems, unmanned aerial platforms, satellite-based monitoring, and enhanced coordination among defence agencies have significantly improved the country’s operational readiness against evolving security threats.
The Prime Minister’s remarks also underscored the government’s continued emphasis on a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. By highlighting Operation Sindoor on an international platform, he reiterated that India remains prepared to respond firmly to threats against its sovereignty while continuing to work with global partners to strengthen regional and international security.
