CDS General Anil Chauhan Envisions India As A Leading Defense Producer

General Anil Chauhan, who is the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), said on Monday that India will soon be one of the world’s biggest defense manufacturers.

On Monday, the CDS General talked at the North Tech Symposium in Jammu.

“We only started this ‘Aatmanirbharta’ business a few years ago. The effects can be seen by everyone…”If we keep going in this direction, it won’t be long before we’re one of the biggest defense equipment makers in the world,” said CDS General Anil Chauhan.

The CDS General said that the anti-drone weapons used by the Indian military at the G20 Summit were taken from “operational places.”

“The G20 Summit was a great success. The Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy set up a lot of anti-drone equipment at the summit site and airport. These systems were actually taken from places where they were being used, like air stations and borders, and then put to use. So, the armed forces knew about this problem, and CDS General Anil Chauhan said, “They have bought enough of this equipment to meet the immediate needs.”

Anil Chauhan also said that the ammunition on show at the exhibition was bought not just for target practice but will also be used in operations.

“I wish you would look more closely at this show. You will find bullets that can travel 100 kilometers. People were able to get this. People haven’t bought this just to shoot at targets. They have to be put to good use. “Some of the things you see here will be in our stock at some point in the future,” the CDS General said.

General Anil Chauhan started talking with the top military commanders from the three services at the beginning of August about the details of Maritime Theater Command and the problems that come with it in the maritime area.

The Chief of Defence Staff met with the Commands that were stationed in the peninsular and island parts of the country a few weeks after he met with the Military Commanders who were in charge of keeping the borders with China safe.
