Indian, Korean Air Forces Communicate After Multilateral Air Exercise Desert Flag

The official media coordination centre of the Indian Air Force (IAF) tweeted that the Korean Air Force met with IAF members after Desert Flag ended on Friday.

Five LCA Tejas and two C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from the IAF gave tourists an overview of the supersonic combat aircraft.

“#DiplomatsInFlightSuits Our Korean Air Force partners interacted with #IAF members when #ExDesertFlag ended. “The LCA Tejas was also shown to the visitors,” the IAF media coordination centre tweeted.

The Ministry of Defence said that 110 Indian Air Force Air Warriors arrived at Al Dhafra airbase in the UAE for Exercise Desert Flag VIII.

The LCA Tejas participated in its first international flight practise outside India from February 27 to March 17.

The official statement states that Air Forces from UAE, France, Kuwait, Australia, the UK, Bahrain, Morocco, Spain, the Republic of Korea, and the USA participated in Exercise Desert Flag.

The exercise involves diverse fighter engagements and learning from other Air Forces’ best practises.
