The Indian Army has announced the commencement of its 143rd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-143), inviting online applications from engineering graduates for Permanent Commission positions. The course is set to begin in July 2026 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.
Eligible candidates from various engineering disciplines can apply through the official website – joinindianarmy.nic.in. The recruitment aims to select talented and motivated individuals who wish to serve the nation as commissioned officers in the Indian Army’s technical branches.
As per the notification, applicants must hold an engineering degree or be in the final year of their engineering program. The selection process includes shortlisting based on academic performance, followed by SSB interviews and medical examinations.
Upon completion of the training at IMA, selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants with an initial salary package ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month, in addition to various allowances and military benefits.
