India Unveils Strong Defence Presence as Dubai Air Show 2025 Begins

India showcases its indigenous air power, advanced defence technologies, and strategic ambitions at one of the world’s biggest aviation exhibitions.

India marked a significant presence as the Dubai Air Show 2025 opened today, showcasing a powerful blend of indigenous innovation, aerial capability, and defence diplomacy. This year’s participation reflects New Delhi’s intent to strengthen global defence ties while highlighting the advancements achieved under its self-reliance initiatives.

A major highlight of India’s contingent is the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, set to perform its signature high-precision formations that have become symbolic of the Indian Air Force’s professionalism. Alongside, the LCA Tejas fighter aircraft represents India’s growing confidence in homegrown combat platforms capable of meeting international standards.

The Indian delegation is being led by Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, who will engage in high-level meetings with foreign counterparts and industry leaders. Discussions are expected to focus on co-production opportunities, defence manufacturing partnerships, and expanding India’s footprint in the global aerospace market.

At the India Pavilion, key public and private sector defence companies are displaying advanced technologies, including aircraft systems, avionics, unmanned platforms, and next-generation combat solutions. The showcase reflects India’s rising capability to design and deliver competitive solutions for international partners.

The Dubai Air Show, one of the world’s most influential aviation events, provides India with a strategic platform to strengthen collaborations, promote exports, and demonstrate the progress achieved through the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
