The biggest defence expo in Asia, DefExpo 2022, will take place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, this year from October 18 to 22. The expo’s theme this year is “Path to Pride,” which aims to arouse patriotic pride and motivate people to take part in nation-building by developing a strong domestic defence industry.

Those who registered for the same earlier in February 2022 are also asked to visit the media registration page by September 5th, 2022, to confirm the previously filled details.
On each of the five days at the Sabarmati riverfront, the five-day event will feature live demonstrations demonstrating the tools and expertise of the armed services, DPSUs, and the defence industry.
DefExpo 2022 will take place in Helipad Exhibition Center, Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Sabarmati River Front in a three-venue structure.
The exhibition is being planned with activities like Bandhan to help companies form partnerships; seminars and webinars to highlight start-ups and MSMEs, as well as cutting-edge technology solutions for the future battlefield; AI in defence; student visits; and to promote Gujarat as an investment destination for the aerospace and defence sector, among other things.
The participants will have the chance to display their tools and platforms at DefExpo-2022, as well as investigate the advantages and potential for business collaborations offered by the sizeable Indian defence sector.
DefExpo 2022 will encourage investment, increase production capacities and capabilities, and identify opportunities for technology absorption. It is in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s objective to attain self-reliance in defence and reach exports of $5 billion by 2025.
Helipad Show Center (HEC) will host the exhibition, and Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Center will host the inaugural/official festivities and seminars (MMCEC)
