Another Soldier Dies Of Gunshot Injuries At Bathinda Military Station: Army

On April 12, a man from the Army was shot and killed at the military station in Bathinda, Punjab. This was about 12 hours after four people from an artillery unit were killed in a shooting.

Army officials also said that the jawan’s service weapon accidentally went off in Punjab on the night of April 12. Gurdeep Singh, SHO of the Bathinda Cantt Police Station, has named the soldier as Laghu Raj Shankar.

Even though he was taken to the Military Hospital right away, he died from his injuries.

On April 11, the soldier came back from his break. It looks like the person tried to kill themselves in this case. The Army said there is no link between this and what happened yesterday at the Bathinda Military Station.

“A soldier died at about 4:30 p.m. on April 12 at Bathinda Military Station after being shot. The Army said that the man was on sentry duty with his service weapon. “The soldier’s gun and its bullet case were found right next to him. It said in a statement that the shooting wound was near the right side of the head.

The Indian Army says that four soldiers (jawans) were killed in a shooting at the Bathinda Military Station early on April 13. However, the Police have ruled out a “terrorist attack” as a possible cause.
